Audi will premiere an electric compact SUV study at March’s 2019 Geneva Motor Show dubbed the Audi Q4 e-tron concept. The German marque says that the concept offers a glimpse of the latest all-electric vehicle which will join its range in late 2020 or early 2021. As Audi’s family of SUVs has continued to expand over recent years, one model has curiously been left off the list; an Audi Q4. Now we know why as the name has been reserved for this vehicle, taking the shape of a coupe-like SUV slotting between the smaller Q3 and the larger Q5. Teasers provided by Audi show that the Q4 e-tron will incorporate thin headlights, a glowing ‘e-tron’ designation on the front bumper, and a large faux front grille. Additionally, there will be flared wheel arches, streamlined side windows, and a sharp D-pillar. Details about the Q4 e-tron’s powertrain remain unknown but there’s a chance it could have the same powertrain as the larger Audi e-tron SUV, albeit with less grunt.
